HANGAR

The Hangar at the Social Club is our event venue for wedding receptions and other large events (class reunions, birthday parties, graduation parties, celebrations of life, etc).  The Hangar is 2400 square feet.  The Hangar is just that, a former WWII airplane Hangar.  It has soaring ceilings, a concrete floor and exposed beams. 

The Hangar is located on the grounds of Samoa Field, across the grilling area from the Lobby Bar and Clubhouse. The Hangar offers a wet bar, two large seating area, a fireplace, standing heaters, electricity and some lighting. We have a limited amount of standing heaters and guests must provide their own propane. We like to think of our spaces like an open canvas for your event. As long as our guests leave the space as they found it, the are welcome to the amenities above. We do not offer other amenities, but you’re welcome to bring them!

The Hangar rents for $600 for 6 hours (this includes set up and clean up time) or $1350 for 48 hours. Hosted beer and wine service is available in the Hangar’s vintage redwood bar for additional fees. For more information, please contact events@humboldt-social.com.
