Humboldt Bay Social Club is a rustic event venue perfect for hosting your destination wedding, class reunion, baby shower, bridal shower, birthday party or professional meeting. We have multiple venues on our property, ranging from the intimate Clubhouse to the expansive Hangar. On-site lodging and bar catering is available for all events.

Event Venues at the Social Club
The Hangar at the Social Club is our event venue for wedding receptions and other large events (class reunions, birthday parties, graduation parties, celebrations of life, etc). The Hangar is 2400 square feet. The Hangar is just that, a former WWII airplane Hangar. It has soaring ceilings, a concrete floor and exposed beams.
Oyster Beach
The grounds of Oyster Beach are available for private outdoor gatherings during an entire property rental. An entire property rental includes all 4 cabins for a minimum of 7 days as well at Waterfront One. Oyster beach offers 22 acres of beach, eucalyptus groves, and meadows. The entire resort is dog-friendly, queer friendly and family-friendly.
Lobby Bar
Our Lobby Bar is open to the public daily for food and drink service. We accept large group reservations during open hours. The Lobby Bar is available as a private event venue for casual gatherings. Private events at the Lobby Bar are only available November - April. The Lobby Bar is comfortably and stylishly furnished and child-friendly.
The Clubhouse is a cozy, photogenic space for intimate events. It is ideal for smaller gatherings such as baby showers, parties, and professional meetings. A vintage Aristocrat trailer has been repurposed as a coffee bar and seating.
WATERFRONT ONE
WATERFRONT ONE is a beachside cabin perfect for small gatherings, business meetings, birthday parties and team building activities. Guests have access to the space and the grounds
Inside, it offers some seating areas, a meeting table, a prep area, and a foyer with a view of the bay. The outside has seating, plenty of space and an outdoor fireplace.
This cabin does not offer indoor plumbing or a kitchen. There is an outdoor sink and portable toilets can be rented adjacent to the cabin.
