The Social Club’s largest suite sleeps four in a loft-like open floor plan. The master bedroom (with two king beds) features pine-clad walls and mid-century furniture. A comfortable living/dining area includes a seating area and dining table, a vintage gas heater and views of the Social Club property. The kitchenette includes a min-fridge, microwave, electric hot water kettle, and a French press coffee maker. The private bath features a spacious dressing area and sitting room that is ideal for wedding parties.
The suite is part of Humboldt Bay Social Club at Samoa Field, a historic WWII airfield and blimp base. We have restored the officer's quarters into a tiny boutique hotel and the hanger into an event space. Guests of the Suite have full access to the grounds of the Social Club, including picnic tables, grills, cornhole, and the bayfront beach across the street at Oyster Beach.
