Perfect for singles and couples, Suite 9 has a cozy bedroom and an expansive, light-filled bathroom. The soaking tub and separate French corner shower create a spa-like environment for those looking for an escape from the every day. The decor is vintage with Scandinavian touches and simple kitchenette amenities (mini-fridge, microwave, french press, tea kettle).
The suite is part of Humboldt Bay Social Club at Samoa Field, a historic WWII airfield and blimp base. We have restored the officer's quarters into a tiny boutique hotel and the hanger into an event space. Guests of the Suite have full access to the grounds of the Social Club, including picnic tables, grills, cornhole games, and the bayfront beach across the street at Oyster Beach.
